Passion and talent need to be encouraged from a young age, so Kaos Music Lab, the Multimedia Art Workshop founded in 2002 by the Associazione Kreativa in Anacapri, has made this its goal and created the first pop/rock music school on the Island of Capri.
Because It's More Fun to Play Together!
The project, brainchild of Gianluca Catuogno and Michela Miccio, aims at music appreciation for children and adults based on the principles of "playing together" through both individual and group lessons teaching the art of jamming and the skill of forming a real band which can cover national and international classic hits in the pop/rock genre and other musical genres.
Kaos Music Lab organizes numerous activities for students of all ages, including indoor and outdoor workshops led by experienced and professional musicians which come from outside the school to share their expertise.
Lessons at Kaos Music Lab are taught by qualified music teachers from the surrounding area, and are structured around a participatory teaching style which involves the student completely. Students can study guitar, voice, piano, and drums. There is also the possibility of participating in Kaos Voices, the school's gospel choir, and Dum Dum Kaos dedicated to body percussion.
The school offers an opportunity for entertainment, socialization, and performing in some of the most beautiful corners of Capri: Kaos Music Lab is dedicated to sharing the love of music with everyone, both audience and musicians...together!
Location
Kaos Music Lab is located on Via Giuseppe Orlandi just a few meters from Piazza Vittoria, the tourist center of Anacapri. The practice rooms and recording studio are located inside the Capri Sporting Club tennis club in Anacapri.
From Capri, you can easily take the bus (there is a stop right outside the door), or walk from the center of Anacapri in just 5 minutes.
